Veterans' position on BBS decision about the fair is unreasonable
Dear Editor:
      It is with great sadness and frustration that I read last week's letter to the editor from the Commander of American Legion Post 94. The Commander should be ashamed and embarrassed for insinuating that the Babylon Beautification Society's board and its members would consider " flowers more important than our troops". The Commander is confusing the issues.

What's on tap is not as good as bottled water
      Dear Editor: The Town of Babylon is taking a strong stand on the environment and this sets a great example. I'm not sure if I agree with the Town's position of bottled water, though. First of all, drinking water instead of soft-drinks is probably one of the best things anyone can do for their health.
