Meghan Caitlin Boyce, of Babylon, received a bachelor of science in resource economics from The University of Delaware at the spring commencement held May 31.

Adam Barnhart, of Babylon, was named to the spring dean's list at American University, Washington, DC where he is majoring in history.

Chrissandra Mosby, of North Babylon, received a bachelor of science in human ecology from The University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

•The following local residents have been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York: From Lindenhurst are Sean B. Cahalin and Chetan Vangala; from Deer Park is Daniel P. Hashim, from Babylon is Croy D. Zwerlein and from West Islip are Katherine M. DeBlasio, Judith Kastner, William J. Marchese and James R. Wisniewski.

•Named to the dean's list at the University at Buffalo of The State University of New York for the spring semester are Jeffrey Bassen of Babylon, Kristin Carder and Joseph Onorio of West Babylon and Krista Lambert, Marissa Sheehan and Kristen Zeitler of West Islip.

•The following students were recently awarded degrees from Harpur College College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University of the State University of New York: Laura Esposito of West Babylon, Sabrina L. Schneider of Deer Park, Nicole Emma Meistrich of West Islip and Jaime L. Licata, Nicholas J. Salierno, Shawn Schatzle and Victoria A. Witchey, all of Lindenhurst.

Christopher Chevallier, of Babylon, has accepted an offer of admission to be a first-year student at American University, Washington, DC.

Lauren Nugent, of Babylon, the daughter of Michael and Laurie Nugent, was named to the dean's list at Fairfield University, Fairfield, Connecticut.

Cory Durand Zwerlein, of Babylon, received a bachelor of arts in architecture cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York at the May 17 commencement.
