Police seek public's help in solving church vandalism

Suffolk Police are investigating an incident of vandalism that occurred between Sat., Sept. 13 and Sun., Sept. 14 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 39 Carll Ave., Babylon. Police said this is the latest in a series of incidents at the Church in the past year.
In the incident over the weekend, someone spray painted anti-religious phrases several locations on church grounds.
Police are asking for the public's help in solving these crimes. Anyone with information can contact the Hate Crimes Unit, 631-852-6323 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
