Mary Ridulfo, 69 year Lindenhurst resident
Loving mother, grandmother and wife, Mary Ridulfo, died after a short illness on July 15, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was a longtime Lindenhurst resident and 78-years-old.
"My mom's life was her family," said her daughter, Marie. "She was happiest when she was with us...she just loved to take care of us." She also loved to garden and and was an avid reader.
For 69 years, she lived in two homes on the same block, 47th Street, in Lindenhurst. In addition to caring for her family and home, she worked at her husband Jack's accounting firm in Lindenhurst for many years. She and her husband were involved for many years with the Lindenhurst Lion's Club and the New York State Society of Public Accountants.
In addition to her daughter, Marie of Lindenhurst, Mrs. Ridulfo also leaves behind her other children, Rosemary Stevenson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bruce of Deer Park, Debra Miller of San Diego, California, Suzanne of Lindenhurst, Michael of Houston, Texas and Maryellen of Lindenhurst. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who called her "Grammy;" and her brother, Robert Westfall of West Babylon. She was predeceased by her husband Biagio "Jack" and her son, Robert.
Mrs. Ridulfo reposed at the Lindenhurst Funeral Home on July 20, 2008. A Funeral Service was held July 21, 2008 at the funeral home followed by interment in Breslau Cemetery in Lindenhurst.
