Nick Montalbano, age 16, of West Islip, recently competed at the 2008 USA Racquetball Junior Olympic Championships on June 24 to 29 at the Big C Athletic Club in Concord, California.

Montalbano has been appointed to the U.S. national junior Racquetball Team for finishing first in the boys 16 doubles, with partner Brad Kirch from Syra-

cuse, and third in the boys 16 singles at the National Championsips.

The U.S. Junior team will be competing a the 2008 IRF Junior World Championships in December at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

Montalbano is entering his junior year at St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip.
