JQA Elementary school in Deer Park shoveling with honor

Deer Park John Quincy Adams (JQA) Elementary School second grade class of 2008 came together one last time for the planting of a tree to honor its graduates, both from this year's class and the past. In the front of the building, students and teachers gathered to plant a Japanese Red Maple and honor those who have walked the halls of JQA. Students from each class took turns shoveling soil into the ground and watering their new flora.
