Suffolk County Police arrested a Mastic man Wed., Aug. 13, for the robbery of the Bank of America branch at 1979 Deer Park Ave., Deer Park. Police gave this account:
Raymond Griffin, 26, of 20 Ivy Rd., Mastic, entered the bank and approached several tellers with a note demanding cash at 12:38 p.m. During the robbery Griffin threatened to kill everyone in the bank if the tellers did not comply.
