On Friday, June 13, five vehicles collided at South Delaware Avenue and Montauk Highway, Linden­hurst. The accident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m.. Four vehicles were stopped at a light in the westbound lane at the intersection when the driver of an SUV plowed between two cars and rear-ended a town pick up truck. The driver of the pick up truck was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treat­ment and the driver of the SUV was seriously injured. Photo by Joe Turner
