Loving family patriarch and 55-year West Islip resident John G. Meditz died on May 25, 2008 after a brief illness. He was 93. In 1953 Mr. Meditz moved with his family from Ridgewood, Queens to West Islip. Before his retirement, he worked as the manger of a now-defunct office supply firm in lower Manhattan. More ...
