Twelve students from Lindenhurst High School's Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) attended the State Finals in Rochester, New York at the Annual NY-DECA State Career Conference on March 5-7. DECA Club co-advisors are Jessica Ruth and Kristie Aurigemma.

Rong Chen won first place for marketing math. Lindsay Lord received three medals-two for top 10 role play and on for top 10 test in retail merchandising. Sammer Sahrudavan - received a medal for role play for sales demonstration. Ashley Reiger received a medal for role play in Career and Finance.
