A concert given by American concert organist Gerre Hancock takes place Sun., April 27, 6 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bay Shore. The last in a series entitled Masters of Improvisation; Dr. Hancock will be tested in the art form of improvisation in front of a live audience. With themes provided on the spot, he will improvise in various styles including fugues, liturgical chant, hymn tunes and folk tunes. Congregation participation is also included.

St. Peter's is located at 500 South Country Rd., Bay Shore. A suggested donation of $10 for adults or $8 for senior citizens and children will be taken at the door.
