Longtime Babylon Village resident John James Trainor, who spent much of his time boating and fishing on the Great South Bay, died March 3, 2008 after a long illness. He was 79. A United States Army veteran, he retired after 30 years from British Airways where he was affectionately known as "Big Daddy." He moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1996. More...
