Clousers announce birth of daughter, Reagan Leigh
      Caroline and Randy Clouser of Princeton, New Jersey, announce the birth of their daughter, Reagan Leigh, who was born Jan. 31, 2008 at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. Caroline is the former Caroline James of Lindenhurst, a 1986 graduate of Lindenhurst High School.

Tech graduate donates $1,000 scholarship
      In gratitude to the Esthetics program at Wilson Technological Center, Naomi Mickens, of North Babylon donated a $1,000 scholarship to Western Suffolk BOCES. Mickens recently completed Tech's 600-hour adult program in the field of skin care and make-up to become licensed in Esthetics. This young entrepreneur has started her own business, FacialsbyNaomi@yahoo.

WB student wins graphic arts award
     Daniel Ogle, shown center, of West Babylon, a senior in Wilson Technological Center's Advertising Art program, received $200 for designing the winning entry in the annual competition sponsored by the Association of Career and Technical Education Administrators. ACTEA asked high school students to design the cover for the group's Technology Assistance Conference. Kenneth Burr, left, executive director of career and technical education at Wilson Tech, presented the check along with advertising art teacher Linda Giery , right.

L.I.Country Music monthly dance
      The Long Island Country Music Association will "Dance into Spring" at its monthly country western dance to be held Sat., April 5, 8 p.m. to midnight. Doors open 7:30 p.m. The dance will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 400 South Broadway, Lindenhurst. Admission is $10 for members and $15 for prospective members. The band is Nashville Attitude and the D.J.

Amityville Woman's Club Bridge Group held annual party
     On Wed. Feb. 13 the Wednesday Bridge Group of the Amityville Woman's Club met. Shown are Ann Budd, Peggy Gates, Ellen Ricciutti, Anne Reale, Dot Schneider, Betty Shave, Norma Kreppin, Sue Martinson, Madeline Sheridan, Norma Maynard, Joan Garry and Caroline D'Antonio. The group held its annual party thanking Ellen Ricciutti for all her work and help in coordinating the bridge afternoons during the year. The hostess was Ann Budd who presided over the champagne, tea sandwiches, chocolates and numerous canapes and desserts which she served at her home.

North Babylon hosts Arrow of Light Ceremony
      Cub Scout Pack 112 of North Babylon recently hosted its annual Blue and Gold dinner and Arrow of Light ceremony. Suffolk County Legislator Wayne Horsley was on hand to present Certificates of Achievement to eighteen Scouts who were honored during the Arrow of Light ceremony.
