Jonathan Reese, a former West Babylon High School lacrosse and football player who went on to play at Yale, was named recently to the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame. He still holds the national record for leading scorer in a season with 82 (and 15 assists), which he accomplished in 1990.

The 2008 inductees were announced by LI Ducks Baseball team owner Frank Bolton, former New York Mets player Bud Harellson and former New York Jets Marty Lyons.
