Police arrest two at illegal Copiague massage parlor

Inge Chap Tan, above, and Fenshan Quan, right. Inge Chap Tan, above, and Fenshan Quan, right. Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section Officers executed a search warrant at a Copiague business which resulted in the arrest of two women Monday, 4 p.m., Jan. 14.

The place of prostitution operated under the appearance of a massage therapy storefront under the name of Oasis Spa, at 94 Montauk Highway. Once customers entered, the employees would then agree to perform a sexual act for a fee. The officers seized $1,722 in cash, along with massage tables and prostitution paraphernalia.

The Town of Babylon Quality of Life Task Force has inspected the property and will issue several summonses to the building owner.

Inge Chap Tan, 53, who resides at an unknown address in Brooklyn, was charged with two counts of Prostitution. Fenshan Quan, 48, of 41-11 Par- sons Blvd., Apt. 102, Flushing, was charged with one count of promoting prostitution 4th Degree and one count of prostitution. They were arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Jan. 15.
