Town inks 8-year contract with CSEA employees
An 8-year contract between CSEA employees and the Town of Babylon has been signed and overwhelmingly approved by the 125-member unit. The contract represents one of the longest ever approved, but also addresses issues that are important to both sides, according to officials for the Town and the union. More...

Suffolk Zone of NYS AHPERD chose Shannon Smith and Richard Nicolini from a pool of hundreds of applicants. A youngster was arrested this week for making bomb threats against Lake Grove High School. This follows similar incidents last month in Amityville and Copiague.
