Holiday note from the Village of Babylon

Village of Babylon offices will be closed and there will be no garbage, rubbish or recycling pick-up on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008 in observance of the New Year's holiday.

Since the Christmas and New Year's holidays are celebrated on two Tuesdays in a row, there will be a special rubbish pick-up on Wednesday, Dec. 26, for residents who normally have Tuesday pick-up. This is for rubbish only, not leaves, grass clippings, newspapers or recycling.

Sanitation calendars will be mailed to all residents at the end of December. Save these calendars to be used throughout the year 2008 for your backdoor garbage pick-up schedule.
