      Students in grades pre-k through eighth from Our Lady of Lourdes School, West Islip, have collaborated with Project Homefront to supply "goody bags" to the American troops overseas.

Girl Scouts donate pillows to Good Samaritan Hospital
      Girl Scout Troop 173 from Kings Park, made and donated comfort pillows to the Breast Health Center of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. The idea and dedication was inspired by Barbara Di Maio, one of the member's grandmother, a sevenyear breast cancer survivor.
