Caregiver of the Year awards luncheon

The Long Island Chapter of the New York State Association of Health Care

Providers recently held its 17th annual

"Caregiver of the Year" awards luncheon recognizing 39 home care aides representing provider agencies across Nassau and Suffolk counties. Each caregiver was recognized for the quality of his or her work and awarded an engraved plaque of acknowledgement, as well as numerous citations and certificates of appreciation from elected officials.

The award recipients, shown, left to right, are Adalgisa Medina with Bestcare, resident of Copiague; Mildred Taylor with Attentive Care, resident of Amityville and Maxine Lawrence with M-E-A Health Care Services, resident of Amityville.
