Shown, left to right, are Assistant Principal Erin Skahill, Client Service Representative from North Fork Bank Federico Canela, Assistant Vice President of North Fork Bank David Gesch, Principal of Northeast Elementary School Kevin McWhirter and students from Northeast Elementary.
The Brentwood School District recently helped break the Guinness World Record for "Most People Reading Aloud Simultaneously in Multiple Locations." On Dec. 13, the students, staff, parents, and administrators of Northeast Elementary School read an excerpt from Charlotte's Web. But Northeast Elementary wasn't reading alone, this achievement included 223,363 people. Northeast Elementary School is mentioned in the special features section of the new DVD version of Charlotte's Web.
