West Islip seniors honored
West Islip High School seniors Kaitlin Keenan and Patrick Cantwell, shown with Director of Health, Recreation and Athletics Wayne Shierant, left and Principal Ken Hartill, right, are this year's Suffolk Zone winners. They were selected as award recipients by the NYS Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation, based on their exceptional physical performance, scholastic ability, and leadership qualities. "These two students are outstanding young people in every category," says Principal Hartill, "and we're very proud of them"
