      Longtime Babylon educator and coach Sara "Aunt Sally" Smith died at her home on November 1, 2007. She was 100 years old. Born in Bay Shore, she was a dedicated English teacher at Babylon High School for 27 years and coached cheerleading for many years during the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

      Elsie C. Fabiszak dedicated her life to caring for her children, husband and home. The Babylon Village resident died November 28, 2007. She was 83 years old. Born in Hollis, Queens, she lived in New Hyde Park for many years before moving to Clinton Street in Babylon Village in 1953.
