Babylon School Theatre Club presents Pippin

One man's quest to find his true calling in life, and the challenges he faced along the way, recently unfolded on the stage at Babylon Junior-Senior High School as the school's Theatre Club presented Pippin. The 1972 production based on the book by Roger O'Hirson, and which included music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, was put on by the cast of 26 students for three shows in addition to their annual Senior Citizen Evening Dinner and Show Program.

With a set created by the talented stage crew and guidance from director Lisa Drance, choreographer AnneMarie Martino, and music director Brian Kroll, the talented studentactors put their voices and acting talents to the test to perform near-flawless productions of the musical. Audiences sat on the edge of their seats as they watched Pippin find his way in life.

As the curtain closed on this year's musical, attendees left looking toward their Corner of the Sky.

Shown in the photo, Babylon Junior-Senior High School student-actors put in many long hours to rehearse the musical Pippin.
