•Lee J. Bliss, of Babylon, received a bachelor arts in international relations from Boston University, Boston Massachusetts.

•The following local residents have enrolled in Syracuse University for the 2007/2008 semester: Natalie Johnson, of Babylon, enrolled in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications; Courtney Kaleta, of Babylon, enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences; Catherine Witkin, of Babylon, enrolled in the School of Architecture; Samantha Worrilow, of West Babylon, enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and Amanda Romano, of Lindenhurst, enrolled in the School of Education.

•William L. Harrigan of North Babylon and Jackie Anne Senz of West Babylon, students at the State University of New York at Binghamton, have been inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society, an academic honors society whose purpose is to recognize the academic achievement and scholarship among freshmen.
