The students in the seventh grade band at the West Babylon Junior High School in the West Babylon School District were thrilled by the invitation they received to participate in the Hofstra University Middle School Honor Band Festival on Oct. 17 and 18. The young musicians performed with students from 45 other schools from the New York area under the direction of Michael Story, a worldrenowned composer.
