Deer Park F.D. to host annual holiday parade
On Saturday, Dec. 1, 6 p.m. the Deer Park Fire Department, community organizations and local businesses will host the annual Holiday Parade. The parade will start at Deer Park High School and proceed down Deer Park Avenue to the firehouse on Lake Avenue. Deer Park postal carriers will be on hand to collect letters for Santa and replies will be sent to those youngsters who enclose a stamped, self-addressed enveloped. Santa will be available to greet children following the parade and hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
