On Oct. 12, Babylon Junior-Senior High School's Business Department was named one of the seventeen Business and Marketing Education Department of the Year award recipients for 2007 by the Business Teachers Association of New York State. This award was presented at the Association's 55th annual Conference at the Crowne Plaza in Albany,
Babylon Junior-Senior High School's Business Department was recognized for its efforts in developing and providing a rigorous and relevant program of study for high school students in the area of business and marketing education. The business department was especially cited for the innovative courses, teaching strategies and creative learning experiences it provides to help prepare its students for success in both post-secondary study and future employment in the global economy of the 21st century.
