Guitar duo performance at Suffolk Community College
The Friends Performing Arts Series of the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Public Library is presenting a performance by the Brasil Guitar Duo, Sunday, November 18, 3 p.m. at the Suffolk County Community College, Brentwood Campus at the Van Nostrand Theater. Tickets are $15.
Brasil has the distinction of producing this guitar duo. Famed virtuoso Paulo Bellinati christened this young ensemble, charted its lineage and proclaimed its place in the guitar universe with victories at the 2006 Artists Guild International Competition and major competitions in Brazil and Germany.
