Deer Park Girl Scouts show their philanthropy and patriotism
Shown in the photothe Deer Park Board of Education honored Girl Scout Troop 903 for its philanthropic efforts in front of a packed Deer Park High School auditorium, filled with community members. The Girl Scouts donated 90 United States Flags, which will be displayed in the class- rooms of their John F. Kennedy (JFK) Intermediate School. JFK Principal Susan Bonner, left, and JFK Vice Principal Kathleen Griffin, right, handed each of the girls a Certificate of Recognition for their patriotic contribution.
