Babylon presents Pippin
One man's quest to find his true calling in life and the challenges he faced along the way is about to unfold on the stage at Babylon Junior-Senior High School as the school's Theatre Club presents
Pippin.
With their voices ready and
deep understanding of the story line, the students have been rehearsing under the leadership of director Lisa Drance, choreographer AnneMarie Martino, and music director Brian Kroll every day to ensure that this year's show will hit a high note with audiences. The musical, which is seen by many as one of Broadway's finest, is made up of a cast of 26 students and based on the book by Roger O'Hirson, and includes music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.
The production will debut for two evening shows on Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10 at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium and a 2 p.m. show on Sunday, November 11. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, and free for senior citizens. For more information or to reserve your seat, contact 893-7910. Tickets will also be available at the door.
