Melissa Damante weds Rich D'Andrea

Melissa Damante and Rich D'Andrea were married July 14, 2007 at St. Patrick's Church in Smithtown. The reception was held at Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook.

Melissa is a third grade teacher in the Connetquot School District and is the daughter of Linda and John Damante of Holbrook. John Damante is a retired Suffoolk County Police Officer who worked for many years in the First Precinct in Babylon.

The groom is the vice president of his family-owned business, United Courier Service of Westbury and is the son of Rich and Patty D'Andrea of Farmingville.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from St. Joseph's College and a master's in literacy from C.W.Post. The groom graduated from Sachem High School.

They honeymooned in Hawaii.
