St. Peter's Episcopal Church to host concert A concert given by French organist, Pierre Pincemaille will take place Sunday, November 4, 6 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 500 South Country Rd., Bay Shore. The first in a series entitled Masters of Improvisation, Pincemaille will be tested in this rapidly vanishing art form in front of a live audience. With themes provided on the spot, he will improvise in the styles of Bach, the French Classic Period and his own "wild style" to quote Pincemaille. Pincemaille is a winner of many important improvisation competitions including the famous Chartres International organ Competition.
A suggested donation of $10 for adults or $8 for senior citizens and children will be taken at the door. A wine and cheese reception follows. For information, either call 631-665-0051 or visit the church's website at stpetersbayshore.org.
