Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center to host Chinese auction
On Friday, November 9, Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center will host their annual Chinese auction. Due to such an overwhelming response in the past, this year the auction will be held in the cafeteria at St. Johns the Baptist High School, 1170 Montauk Hwy., West Islip. The auction will benefit the resident/patient recreation fund. Doors open at 6 p.m. for viewing of prizes offered. Prizes will be auctioned off starting at 7:30 p.m. and refreshments will be offered. Admission is $13, which includes 25 raffle tickets. Additional raffles may be purchased at $7 for 25 tickets. Any local businesses wishing to donate items to the auction can call Our Lady of Consolation's recreational therapy department at 631-587-1600, extension 8331.
