Marianne McCarthy to wed Todd Chapey

Marianne McCarthy of Brightwaters, and Andrew "Todd" Chapey of West Islip, were engaged on September 30, 2007 at the lighthouse in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. She is an international private equity analyst at Deutsche Bank Securities in New York City and is the daughter of Thomas and Una McCarthy formerly of Brightwaters and currently of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

Chapey, a certified public accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers in New York City, assists with the financial control of his family's Long Island business and is the son of Joseph and Carol Chapey of West Islip. The bride earned a bachelor of arts in business administration from Manhattan College and her master's in corporate finance from City University of New York-Baruch College. The groom earned a bachelor of arts in accounting from Quinnipiac University and his master's degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook.

The couple plans to live in New York City and East Islip.
