Brentwood High School students accepted to Heckscher-Usdan Student Art Institute
Cristalina De Nicola and Ivette Mercado of Brentwood High School in the Brentwood Union Free School District have been accepted into the Heckscher-Usdan Student Art Institute. Only 15 young artists were selected from a competitive portfolio review and interview process. These institute scholars will engage in a year-round study at both the Heckscher and Usdan campuses. The institute aims to create a sense of community and encourage student-to-student artistic inspiration, support and camaraderie for Long Island's most talented young visual artists.
