Live Poets Society to host writing workshop series The Live Poets Society will be holding its 2007 Saturday Poetry Writing Workshop Series, October 20 and 27 and November 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Society of South Suffolk, 28 Brentwood Rd., Bay Shore. Adding Drama to Lyrical and Narrative Poetry - A workshop with Virginia Walker will be offered on October 20. Poet Allen Plans will offer the program on October 27 and on November 3, there will be That Chance Meeting: Ways to connect with the Audience.
In advance each workshop is $40, at the door $45 and in advance $35 for Live Poet Societymembers, students and seniors. Thee is a special rate of $120 for all four programs.
