Conklin House Apples and Art Festival this weekend

The Conklin House, 280 Deer Park Ave., Babylon, will present the twelfth annual Apples and Art festival beginning Friday, October 12 and continuing Saturday and Sunday,October 13 and 14. The house will be open on Friday, 7 to 9 p.m. for a reception honoring the participating artists. The public is invited to view the art and meet the artists.

Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the house, bar and grounds host the apple festival, as well as the art work. Local apples are featured along with cider and pies. There will be games for the youngsters and the barn will hold a display of children's art.

On Sunday the house and barn will be open from noon to 3 p.m. to view the art display.
