Sinai Reform Temple of Bay Shore hold Tot Shabbat Service October 19

Sinai Reform Temple invites the community to its Tot Shabbat service, Friday, October 19, 6 to 6:30 p.m. The service will be led by Rabbi Michael Churgel, RJE, who recently joined Sinai Reform Temple.

Rabbi Churgel will lead a lively, engaging service for children up to six years old, along with their families. This will be the first of the Temple's monthly Tot Shabbat services which will be held the third Friday of each month. Tot Shabbat is a opportunity to introduce the joy of celebrating Shabbat to your young child in a service especially designed for them. Give your child the opportunity to enjoy their rich Jewish heritage in a warm and friendly environment.

Rabbi Churgel previously served as Rabbi-educator at Congregation Beth Elohim in Brooklyn, and as assistant Rabbi at Temple Beth El of South Orange County in Aliso Viejo, CA. He holds a master of arts in Hebrew letters and a master of arts in Jewish education, along with rabbinic ordination from the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion.

Sinai Reform Temple is located at 39 Brentwood Rd, Bay Shore, accessible by Sunrise Highway, the Southern State Parkway and the Long Island Expressway.
