Family Service League volunteers needed

Family Service League is looking for volunteer tutors to assist in its Operation Homework Program, between the hours of 3:30 and 5 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. the program is located at the Iovino Family Center, 1444 Fifth Ave., Bay Shore. Tutors will assist students in grades one to six with their homework assignments and with a computer program that improves reading ability. Tutors will provide individualized help and encourage children to organize and complete their assignments.
