Ascension Lutheran Church to hold Day of Prayer

Ascension Lutheran Church, 33 Bay Shore Rd., Deer, will be holding special day of prayer. Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14, will be dedicated to mental health, as Lutheran congregations everywhere unite in praying for persons having mental disorders of all kinds. Ascension will mark this time with a candle lighting ceremony and special prayers for those suffering with mental health issues.
