BHS senior voted most popular driver

Babylon High School senior Jessica Larsen was recently voted the Most Popular Driver in the Blunderbust Division at Riverhead Raceway. Balloting was conducted throughout the racing season through Program Dynamics of New Jersey, the supplier of racing programs at many racetracks throughout the northeast.

Larsen competes at Riverhead Raceway in the NASCAR Whelen All America Series in the Blunderbust Division driving the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island Chevrolet owned by JTL Enterprises. Larsen has qualified for every event she has entered, has one top 10 finish and will finish third in the Rookie of the Year point tally.

This award is voted in by the fans and is a much-coveted award. When presented with her trophy Larsen thanked her sponsors, her fans and John Wellman of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island for all their help and support and for taking the time to vote and send in their ballots.
