Wendy "Original Sin" Sincuir of Sagamore Steakhouse and West Babylon resident has been selected to be one of the boxers for the 5th annual Long Island Fight For Charity which will be held November 19th at the Long Island Hilton in Melville. This action-packed event is one of the Island's leading charity fundraising and networking events. The event is expected to have an attendance of more than 1,200 people and to raise over $120,000 for local charities.

More than 15 of Long Island's brightest and toughest business professionals will go head to head in the ring. The card for the evening will include more than ten bouts that pit local business professionals against each other for charity.

One of the many anticipated bouts will include Wendy "Original Sin" Sincuir representing Sagamore Steakhouse. "Ever since I heard about the Fight For Charity wanted to be a part of it. This year, when I had the chance to become a boxer I jumped at it. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, try new things and give back to the community," said Sincuir.

"When we started the Fight For Charity five years ago, we never imagined how popular it would become. However, if it were not for all the individuals who volunteer to box and help us put this event together, it would never have emerged as one of the Island's premier charity networking events that it is today," said Jeff Cohen, Long Island's Fight For Charity Co-Founder.

Tickets for the event are currently available on-line. Ringside seats are $250, premium seats are $125, and both include admission to a preevent special networking and cocktail reception. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and will provide food and beverages from a variety of leading Long Island businesses.

Charities to be supported by this year's event include Long Island Community Chest, which will distribute the funds to local charities including the Genesis School, Cancer Center for Kids, Hispanic Cultural Center, Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc., National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Long Island Chapter, Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation and America's VetDogs.
