Open Educational Forum be held October 10

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Central L.I. Branch will present The Miseducation of Children of Color, the third in a series of open educational forums, Wednesday, October 10, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wyandanch Public Library, 14 South 20th St., Wyandanch.

Do school suspensions/arrests prevent young people of color from meaningful employment, going to college or joining the armed forces? Is there a correlation between school suspensions, special education and prison for young men and women of color? Join in with a distinguished panel of judges, lawyers, educators, parents and students.
