Explorer Post #555 Chinese auction to be held October 5 A Chinese auction will be held Friday, October 5 at the cafeteria in Lindenhurst High School, 300 Charles St., Lindenhurst. The doors open 6:30 p.m. and basket will be called at 9 p.m. Money will be put toward uniforms and equipment for First Precinct Explorer Post #555. Prizes are valued at $40 and higher. There will be a 50/ 50 and super sweeps prizes. Light refreshments will be available.
