Rotary Club of Amityville Apple Festival to be held October 6

Once again, the Amityville Rotary Club is hosting its ever-popular annual Apple Festival. This year's event is Saturday, October 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, on the grounds of the First United Methodist Church, 25 Broadway, Amityville, just north of Merrick Road.

Apples can be purchased by the bag the day of the festival. Advance orders by the case can be made by calling Linda Batz at 631-264-0300. You can select from a large variety of apples.

The Rotary club will be selling apple pies, apple cider and other treats. There will be arts and crafts, facepainting, food vendors and music.
