National Organization for Women to host Meet the Candidates night October 9
On Tuesday, October 9, 6:45 p.m., the South Suffolk Chapter of the National Organization for Women will present Meet the Candidates Night at the West Islip Public Library, 3 Higbie Ln., West Islip Suffolk candidates at all levels, from all political parties, are invited to come and answer questions on NOW's six major issues: reproductive rights; gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender right; stopping violence against women; ending racism; an Equal Rights Amendment and economic justice for women.
