Church Blessing of the Animals to be held Sunday, Oct. 7

Br. Tom Carey, SSF, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, 305 Carll's Path, Deer Park and a Franciscan Brother in the Society of Saint Francis, will bless pets and whatever other animals the public cares to bring at St. Patrick's Harvest Festival, Sunday, October 7. Mass is at 9:30 a.m. The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes vendors, a jumping castle, games and refreshments. The pet blessing is slated for noon. The rain day is Sunday, October 14 for the flea market only. For information, call 631-242-7530.
