W. Islip resident wins Rutgers Girls Open

The 30th annual Rutgers Junior Girls Open (golf) was held on August 2 and 3. This was the second year of the two-day tournament for the Junior Miss Division. The heat provided an additional challenge to the 39 young women who took part. The champion is West Islip golfer Dani Mullin who shot 74-76 to take the trophy.
