Dahlia Society fall show to be held October 6 and 7

The Long Island Dahlia Society will host a fall dahlia show and photographic competition, Saturday, October 6, 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Carriage House at Bayard Cutting Arboretum, Montauk Highway, East Islip. Meet the gardeners who grow the flowers, which range in size from a marble to a basketball.
