West Babylon man and Lindenhurst father and son seriously injured in MVA on Sunrise Hwy.

On September 2, a West Babylon man was ejected from his car after hitting the vehicle in front of him. Daniel Morgan, 43, Roland Place, was traveling west on Sunrise Highway at County Line Road in Massapequa when he hit a 1996 Jeep in front of him at 3:30 p.m., suffering serious head trauma. The Jeep then struck a 2003 Chevy. The Jeep's driver, Thomas White, 35, North Hamilton Ave., Lindenhurst, and his 13-year-old son sustained minor injuries when they collided with a pole and flipped over. The Amityville and Massapequa Fire Departments transported the three wounded to Nassau University Medical Center. The investigation is continuing. PHOTO BY JOE TURNER
